Memory
The objective of the contest is to promote the revitalization and renewal of the San Isidro Center Area, in order to allow a better quality of life and boost the commercial, tourist and cultural activity of its neighborhoods. The rules of the contest stipulate that the participants can establish in their proposals a main idea and four aeras or complementary intervention themes.
Our proposal is based on the creation of an integrated urban system, which allows to unify the experience of all users and visitors of the Center. The main streets of the shopping center are reconstructed to give priority to pedestrians and bicycles, restricting car access and enhancing the use of the entire surface of existing streets and public spaces.
The proposal is completed with mobility strategies, social integration, culture and heritage, public spaces and green spaces, all organized around the motto of the project, "The soil that unites us".
